Warsaw Guide

Warsaw (Warszawa) is the capital of Poland and the biggest city in Poland. Located on the Vistula (Wisła) River is placed ca. 350km from both the Baltic Sea and the Carpathian Mountains. Population of Warsaw as of 2007 was estimated at 1,706,624, but with the all metropolitan area, the students, emigrants and people who live and work in Warsaw but aren't registered this digit exceed 2 millions. Warsaw is the 8th largest city in the European Union.
